Rolex Airking 5500 Pool Intairdril Logo 1982.

If you want to buy a Rolex, we have found the right one for you. Rare and only delivered for a few years. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Rolex supplied watches with their logo for companies. Rolex has not been doing this for years now. Well-known logo dials were; Winn Dixie, Domino’s and also this Pool dial. It is also affectionately known as a ‘petroleum’ dial. Pool intairdril was a petroleum company in Libya that gave these Rolexes to their staff for services in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Winn Dixie and Domino Pizza did the same. Pool Intairdril unfortunately no longer exists. The oil fields are probably empty and we also know how things turned out in Libya. What still exists is this Rolex Airking 5500 Pool Intairdril Logo 1982. And in super condition. The strap is as good as new and has no stretch. The case is nice and thick. The plate is intact and the logo is clearly visible. The case back has no inscription, as is often seen with these watches. The previous owner bought the watch as the second owner. Unfortunately, there is no box and papers. But we have priced it nicely. Because even without a logo plate, these Rolex Airking 5500 are rising very fast at the moment. The diameter of 34MM makes it a popular model. Because it can be worn unisex. Or just put it away. Because no gold price can compete with this. The Rolex movement caliber 1520 has been completely checked and runs within COSC standards. This is not just any movement. Rolex also used it for the Rolex Submariner 5512 and 5513. A proven workhorse. And the timepiece has been around since 1962. We haven’t even mentioned the history of the Rolex Air King. But we have a nice link for you here. Because that is also very impressive!
